8 Natural Herbal Supplements to Organically Enhance Your Sex Life

8 Natural Herbal Supplements to Organically Enhance Your Sex Life

There are many, many, herbal supplements currently available on the market.

I'll be straight with you: most of them are snake oil products that don't do anything whatsoever, relying solely on marketing and the placebo effect in order to churn a profit of some kind.

Yet, some of them can actually benefit your sex life, whether that be indirectly by alleviating problems such as stress, fatigue, promoting vitality and energy; or directly, by enhancing your erection, pre-cum producing abilities, and so on.

Amongst the multitude of herbs available, we believe the following are the ones worth investigating.

First up...

1. Vitex Fruit (Agnus Castus)

This herb works on the pituitary gland and has a balancing effect on the hormones, particularly during the second half of the menstrual cycle and menopause, when hot flashes can occur.

Men, don't stop reading yet.

It is also useful in reducing excessive prolactin levels.

"What in the heck is prolactin?"

Prolactin is the hormone released post-orgasm in men that causes the refractory period.

In layman's terms: less prolactin equals less time between orgasms.

If you're looking for that au natural 'life hack' of shooting load after load, this is it.

For serious firepower, however, you'll need a prescription for cabergoline.

Important note: If you already take HRT or some other hormonal treatment, avoid this one.

2. Ginkgo Biloba

An interesting one with an even more interesting name.

It improves blood circulation (boners!), reduces premenstrual breast pain, and also improves learning ability, memory, and concentration.

Perfect for maintaining a destructive erection while you review your sex position flashcards.

Furthermore, it is an effective agent for inhibiting PAFs (platelet-activating factors), which can lead to thrombosis and bronchial constriction.

"What now?"

In other words, your circulatory system along with your endurance--lung capacity--will be ready to be put to the test.

We can guess you probably have a certain activity in mind.

3. Ginseng

Often referred to as Korean Red Ginseng, Panax Ginseng, or something similar, we'd be surprised if you haven't come across this one before.

Considered one of the most highly prized of all medicinal herbs, ginseng regulates the metabolic rate, stimulates blood sugar levels, maintains vitality, and protects against mental and emotional stress.

More importantly, though, what makes it sexy?

Ginseng has been touted in traditional Chinese medicinal practices to work as an aphrodisiac alongside treating sexual dysfunction.

So will taking Ginseng merely make you horny?

Not quite.

Ginseng will improve your erection quality through enhanced nitric oxide production, increase libido, increase sperm count, and improve sperm motility.

The Chinese were on to something.

Important Note: For best results, take for 3+ months before evaluating.

4. Flaxseed (Linseed)

An alternative to cod-liver oil, this increases immune function, regularizes the menstrual cycle, lowers blood pressure, and reduces the risk of heart disease.

Improved blood flow to the sexual organs is the primary benefit of supplementing regularly with this one.

5. Rhodiola Rosea

Rhodiola Rosea sexual benefits

A common favorite amid stim-junkies looking for a natural buzz.

Rhodiola Rosea regulates stress hormones, boosts physical energy--it can be particularly useful for improving one's recovery post-illness--and enhances sexual function.

Stress hormones are notorious for messing with one's libido, and Rhodiola Rosea will assist you in returning to your libido-baseline.

Perhaps beyond it.

Aside from another herb listed at the bottom of this list, Rhodiola Rosea is one that you will actually feel when it begins to work.

It's excellent when looking for a short-term energy boost without having to reach for a shot of espresso, and, unlike caffeine, the stimulating effects seem to wear off after two-to-four hours.

You'll be able to fall asleep after boning, no problem.

Important Note: Tolerance can build like any other compound, so regular cycling or only supplementing several times per week is necessary to maintain maximum effectiveness.

6. Saw Palmetto

Another herb that you may be familiar with.

Saw Palmetto treats prostate problems caused by too much DHT (Dihydrotestosterone).

Moreover, it strengthens the neck of the bladder, reduces frequent urination, and acts as a tonic for general debility.

Fun fact: Saw Palmetto berries are mentioned as a remedy for several problems in Native American medicinal texts of the 1800s.

Important Note: Pregnant or breast-feeding women should avoid this one.

7. Pygeum

Our favorite of the line-up.

Pygeum is much akin to Saw Palmetto and can be thought of as it's suave, younger brother.

It boasts many of the same benefits Saw Palmetto is renowned for, with an additional added benefit.

"What benefit is that?" you may ask.

If you've ever wanted to spout pre-cum like a faucet, this is how.

Pygeum works.

Additionally, if you're interested in taking Pygeum and Saw Palmetto together, Now Foods has a product that contains both.

Important Note: You're welcome.

8. Sage

Sage acts as an antispasmodic, antiseptic, and tonic.

In addition, it is commonly burned for its pleasant aroma and therapeutic properties.

It may also be used in an infusion.

Similar to Rhodiola Rosea, Sage assists the body in reducing stress hormones.

While it doesn't have the significant 'in-your-face' effect Rhodiola Rosea has, it still works quite well in raising libido for some individuals.

It also assists in controlling menopausal symptoms in women.

Bonus Commentary: Marijuana

I'm not sure we need to say very much about this one.

Marijuana is often thought of as the epitome of natural libido enhancers and viagra.

For those unacquainted with marijuana's intimate-enhancing effects, think of it this way: are you aware of how marijuana can give people the munchies and make food taste better?

Now imagine that same effect, applied to sex.

Likewise, the passion of your sexual encounters will increase tenfold, alongside eyewatering, pleasurable sensations.

You'll feel every nook and cranny of your lover.

And your climax?

You'll be breathless!

Picture that while you use a prostate massager.

Pour Conclure

We just threw a lot of odd-sounding names and links at you, so if you're not sure where to start, don't worry.

This is what we suggest you do if you're interested in trying any of these herbs: start with Pygeum--with added Saw Palmetto if you already make frequent nighttime bathroom trips--and then move onto the others one by one so you're not putting a hole in your wallet.

Furthermore, you'll be able to identify what works well for you, and what doesn't.

Finally, if you live somewhere where marijuana is legal, it may be fun to experiment using it in the bedroom with your lover.

You find out what all the talk of 'passion-wrapped pleasure' is all about.

Until next time.

Your Pal,

Liam Valentine
