How to Keep You AND Your Prostate Happy

And before you ask, no, that picture is of a walnut. Not a real prostate.

So, then, how can one take of this precious organ? The giver of life. The giver of pleasure. And the giver of massive loads.

Grab your prostate and cowboy hat, because you're in for a wild ride.

Below, I'll present you with seven sure-fire ways to make sure your pleasure-organ is still pumping and churning away the day before you end up in your coffin.

NOTE: I am not a doctor. Take EVERYTHING you read here with a grain of salt. Likewise, what I am reporting below is based on PERSONAL experience. What works for me may NOT work for you. You need to experiment with yourself and see how you may apply all the principles below to your own life.

1. Exercise

Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. I'm beating a dead horse with this one.

Exercise apparently makes just about everything in life better. Depression. Obesity. You name it. Exercise will be prescribed.

And keeping your little buddy safe is no different.

But I'm not talking about sissy cardio or bouncing up and down on the swiss ball.

Weight Training is where it's at.

Weight Training will encourage the male body to produce more testosterone and build muscle mass.

I'm not gonna get all sciency on you with how this all works, as I'm sure you've heard it all before, however, when your blood-testosterone level drops with age this causes a different bodily hormone to rise. DHT.

When this sucker increases alongside declining testosterone levels, your prostate may end up a little too large for comfort.

Long story short: Boosting your T-level will reverse the aging process and assist in modulating your male hormones--all the while making sure your prostate doesn't blow up to the size of a balloon anytime soon.

And who doesn't want to have big arms, pecs, and chiseled abs?

But if weight training isn't for you, at least do something.

P.S. Don't forget to do your Kegels!

2. Watch Your Diet

In other words, don't eat like shit.

Future-you will thank past-you a million times over for this.

There's a lot of debate over what a healthy diet actually looks like, and I'm sure whatever I say here will cause at least someone to roll their eyes, but I'll shoot my shot.

So, what is the best "healthy diet?"

The one you can stick to.

That's the reality, folks.

If intermittent fasting is what gets your gears grinding, do that.

If low-carb keeps the fat off your belly and the biceps thick, do that.

And if you're not sure?

Try out a few different diets and see how you feel.

You're sure to find one that works for you and makes you feel good.

Pro-Tip: It is best to not solely subsist on ice cream and sugar.

3. Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle

Jesus. Am I ever going to stop with these generic life-tips?

Hopefully, tip number four will be different.

Listen, I shouldn't have to tell you this, but staying up till 3 am every night drinking and smoking isn't necessarily great for your body.

I get it.

Chasing girls and having a night out with the boys is fun.

But don't do it every night.

Use common sense here. What's good for your body is good for your prostate.

Remember that.

Oh, and before I forget.

Get. Regular. Check-ups!

I can't believe how many people skip out on their annual doctor check-up.

Don't be that guy who could have avoided something serious if he just went to the doctor on time.

Again, Future-you will thank past-you!

4. Have Regular Sexy Times

Alright, now we're talkin'!

I'm not exactly a fan of no-fap.

It's hard to be when I'm associated with a website like this.

While I'm not an advocate of watching pornography, I'm by no means opposed to a man choking the chicken a few times per week if he doesn't have an available partner.

While it isn't necessarily set in stone that men must regularly ejaculate to maintain prostate health, something tells me it is probably a good idea.

As someone who did not masturbate for the first time until I was 18 years old (yes, I'm serious) I've noticed no dip in life quality since then.

I do have fewer wet dreams though, mind you.

And like I said, pornography is not included.

Yet, I do believe frequent ejaculation is beneficial for the prostate. Namely, because like any organ in the body, regular use promotes health and longevity.

Research suggests (this is all still relatively new in our world of sexy science, so take all of this with a grain of salt) that prostate milking may be beneficial to long-term prostate health.

And why is this so?

First, it increases blood flow, which means more oxygen in and more CO2 out. This improves health in any part of the body, especially if it is not used.

Second, one possible cause of prostatitis, an inflammation of the prostate, is tight pelvic muscles. The muscles can become tight from postural problems (especially while sitting), from an injury, or from a bacterial inflection in the prostate causing swelling. And even when the infection is treated with antibiotics, the muscles can stay tight and cause more irritation to the prostate. Anal penetration and massage can help relax the muscles and let the prostate calm down.

Third, The prostate is full of glands and they can get blocked up. Similar to the blocked pores on your face, massage releases the trapped fluid and improves health.

Fourth, If you have BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia- an enlarged prostate), massage can reduce symptoms like having difficulty urinating.

Lastly, we'd be amiss if we didn't mention playing around with one of our beloved toys as well.

And what better tool to use than our precious 10-Speed Prostate Massager.

Uh.. well I guess you don't have a choice.

5. Consider Supplementation

Do supplements really make a difference?

Or are they just another way for businesses to squeeze money out of your wallet?

On a serious note here: It's hard to say.

This is one of those instances where you'll need to perform some A/B split testing on yourself to see if they actually affect you in any way.

Below are supplements I have tried and can report on their effectiveness with a straight face:

Vitamin D

I honestly thought this was B.S. until I started dosing it in the 20,000 IU range daily.

I use to think it didn't do anything at all when I would supplement with 2,000-5,000 IU, however, after upping the dosage to 20,000 IU I noticed better sleep, more energy throughout the day (especially during the winter), and an overall improved sense of well-being.

This one really seems to be hit or miss, but if you do give it a try, I'd definitely experiment with your dose range.

Moreover, Vitamin D seems to be very important for overall bodily health, and like I mentioned before, what's good for you is probably good for your prostate.

Fish Oil & Omega 3's

I really can't suggest this one in the sense that you'll actually notice a difference.

I've experimented with dosages from 1 gram to 20 grams with varying Omega 3 values, and I've never noticed a difference.

Apparently, this is good for your heart though?

This may be an instance where this supplement offers health benefits, but these health benefits are not necessarily felt.

Okay, enough jibber jabber, let's get to some prostate SPECIFIC supplements.

Saw Palmetto

You've probably heard of this one.

And unfortunately, I again can't recommend it with a guarantee that it will 'work.'

In other words, I think Saw Palmetto is akin to your prostate wearing a seat belt.

You don't necessarily need it when you get behind the wheel, but in the long run, it'll probably keep you safe.

Anecdotally, it seems to stop frequent bathroom trips for many men with prostate issues, but this isn't something I noticed.

Maybe my prostate is already in good shape?

But if you're interested, giving it a shot couldn't hurt.

Pygeum

You're in luck.

Because this stuff rocks.

I'm not sure if there any actual long-term health benefits to supplementing with Pygeum, but this stuff will have you spouting Pre-cum like a faucet. No joke.

You'll be throwing ropes like a rodeo cowboy.

I'd assume that this is because it actually does improve the functionality of the prostate gland, so if this benefit sounds good to you, consider adding it to your prostate repertoire.

You and your partner will thank you.

Zinc

Last but not least, we have Zinc.

Zinc seems to assist your body in testosterone production--no, we haven't actually gotten any blood tests done to verify--and likewise contributes to larger loads.

Similar to Pygeum, we'd assume that this is because it is actually working.

We don't have too much else to say about this one, other than it seems to quite backed-up by research.

Likewise, if you choose to get some Zinc, go for Zinc Picolinate. It is superior to all other forms of zinc.

Just take a browse online and see for yourself.

Plus, zinc is relatively cheap, so if you're looking for a natural T-booster, this might do the job.

6. Hydrate & Urinate Regularly

Yes.

Holding your piss too long all the time alongside walking around dehydrated aren't exactly healthy, 'best practices.'

And lo' and behold, apparently this can actually increase your chance of bladder cancer (the 'holding your piss' part, not dehydration).

Dehydration, on the other hand, simply makes your body function less optimally by every metric.

The human body is made up of 60% water, so it only makes sense, then, that if you want everything to be working at 100% efficiency, grab a glass of that sweet clear stuff.

You probably need it.

7. Manage Stress

Stress just seems to make everything in your life worse.

Some studies show that there may be a connection between stress and prostate cancer.

But let's be real here.

There seems to be a connection between stress and everything else on this planet.

However, feeling stressed out long-term will make you feel worse as time goes on.

This is because, with time, it will weaken your immune system and likewise lower your testosterone levels.

This means less gains in the gym, less thrusts in the bedroom, and more time getting sick.

Not good.

So, what's a man to do?

Unfortunately, I'm just a writer for a sex toy website, so I can't levitate above you and proclaim I know exactly how to live a stress-free lifestyle.

But what I can do is give you a few basic suggestions that you've probably heard before, but may not be doing.

Get your Zzzs.

Not getting an optimal amount of sleep will make you pissed off and grumpy, which I'm sure we've all experienced before.

Limit the caffeine and booze.

Caffeine puts your body into 'fight or flight' mode by stimulating the adrenal glands. Sure, there's nothing wrong with having a cup of joe in the morning.

But you know that guy at the office who seems to chug coffee all day while simultaneously always appearing extremely stressed out and worried?

Yeah.

There's a reason for that.

And alcohol? I shouldn't have to explain that one.

Exercise. Talk it out. Go for a walk. Lay down on the floor like a starfish.

Try out all the above and see if they work for you.

All have been proven and/or anecdotally reported to help reduce stress.

Wrap Up

Well folks, there you have it.

Follow the above seven guidelines and you'll be on your way to living the Playful-Prostate-Lifestyle.

Do you have any additional tips?

Would you like me to elaborate on something?

Let me know in the comments!

Your Pal,

Alex
